Our main communication method is via email.
We ask that all parents/ carers have shared an email address with school, so we are able to email you any letters and key messages. If you unable to receive emails, please contact our school office, who will provide your child with a paper-based copy of the letter. Each Friday, we send out our weekly newsletter which is also available to see on our school website.
We also ask that parents/ carers are signed up to ParentPay. At Whitkirk, we are a cashless school and this is the platform that you will use to pay for school meals, trips and where you can donate if you wish to do so for any fundraising events.
All classes have a Class Dojo page, where teachers will post what children have been learning in class. On here, there is a private message tool where parents/ carers can contact the class teacher directly. Class teachers will endeavour to reply in one working day between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm. If you require an urgent response, please speak to your class teacher or teaching assistant on the playground, or leave a message with our school office.
