Whitkirk Primary School Safeguarding

Whitkirk Primary school, is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, governors and volunteers to share this commitment.

We recognise that safeguarding encompasses the duties of child protection and promoting the rights and welfare of children. It is everyone’s responsibility to safeguard children and adults in school and provide a safe environment in which children can learn. We have a school safeguarding team and a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our RKLT Child Protection Policy.
