We raise money to provide equipment or experiences for the children at our school.

We are currently committed to annually raising funds for the following:

  • A free pantomime in school each year
  • Subsidised school trip for each pupil from reception to year 5 (£5.00 off of 1 trip)
  • £10 for each yr6 pupil to go towards their residential
  • Adhoc requests from school

We are always looking for new members to join our team. We are a friendly bunch that try to meet up (outside of COVID) face to face monthly. We are made up of a group of PTA committee members and volunteers. The more people we have to help us the bigger and better our events can be.

We understand that not everyone will be able to offer their time so you can support us by attending our events, joining our school lottery, using Amazon Smile and selecting us as your chosen charity and keeping in touch with us so you know about our latest events and fundraisers.

We have our firm favourite events that pre (and hopefully post) COVID we hold annually such as our summer fair, spooky Halloween disco, valentines disco as well as the end of term in school discos. We try to think of new ideas to raise funds that the children will enjoy – be it goody bags, smarties challenge, Christmas cards or movie nights.

We work closely with the teachers to discuss any items we can help to raise funds for. So, as well as adhoc items like new playground equipment and refurbishment funds we try to give something higher in monetary value. In 2019 we were delighted to purchase and donate a sound system for the hall to include microphones for school performances and in 2020 we committed to giving money to purchase 15 iPads for the school.

Whenever funds allow, we aim to treat the children too such as each child receiving a present at Christmas or a chocolate egg or sweets at Easter.
