School Improvement

Whitkirk Primary School (62)

Working together for every child to be the best they can be

At Whitkirk Primary School, we are committed to providing the very best education and opportunities for every child.

We are proud of our school's strengths and achievements, but we are always looking for ways to develop, improve and build on our successes.

Our School Improvement Plan identifies the key priorities that will guide our work throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. These priorities are informed by our evaluation of the school's performance, the needs of our children and our commitment to ensuring that every pupil flourishes.

Our School Improvement Priorities 2026–2027

Our four key priorities are:

  1. Inclusion – Ensuring every child can access the curriculum, make strong progress and achieve well.
  2. Attendance – Supporting children to attend regularly, feel a sense of belonging and make the most of every learning opportunity.
  3. Teaching and Learning – Providing consistently high-quality, inclusive teaching so that every child achieves their potential.
  4. Personal Development and Wellbeing – One Life – Helping children become happy, confident, kind and ready for life.

Whitkirk Primary School Improvement Plan 202627

Our staff, governors and wider school community work together to bring these priorities to life, ensuring that our decisions remain focused on what matters most: our children.

The best that we can be.
