Behaviour
Whitkirk Primary School has high standards of behaviour. We focus and pride ourselves on building positive relationships between children, staff, parents/carers and the wider community.
We feel it is essential for children to understand and be taught about emotions and how to regulate their sensory needs, energy and impulses to meet the demands placed on them.
At Whitkirk, we celebrate and encourage behaviour that mirrors our core values:
- Achievement
- Safety
- Respect
- Friendship
- Trust
- Forgiveness.
Anti-Bullying Policy
Our school maintains a stringent anti-bullying policy that does not tolerate any forms of bullying or discriminatory behaviour. We are committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all children. In the rare occasions that such incidents do occur, they are addressed swiftly, effectively and fully involve parents/carers of all the children involved. The well-being of every member of our school community remains high priority.
