School Meals
We are proud of our school meals which have an emphasis on fresh and healthy food.
We have a Meat Free Day in each menu cycle and work with catering providers Hutchinson to create healthy and appealing menu choices. Please have a look at the menu sheet below so that you can discuss food choices with your child. The menus may change slightly at short notice due to circumstances beyond our control, however this would only be on a rare occasion.

Children are welcome to have a combination of school meals and packed lunches, and no notice is needed when changing between the two. For example, a child may choose to have a school meal on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but a packed lunch on a Tuesday and a Thursday – this is absolutely fine. We just ask that school meals are booked in advance before 8:30am each morning.
If your child is on packed lunch, this should not contain sweets, chocolate, cans, glass bottles or fizzy drinks. We are also a nut free school. Any lunch items containing nuts will be confiscated, and can be collected from the school office at the end of the day.
We pride ourselves on ensuring that lunchtime is a positive experience for all. Staff carefully supervise children at lunchtime, ensuring that they eat their meal, show good manners when eating, and then engage in games on the playground. Teaching assistants, midday supervisors, Learning Mentors, and members of the Senior Leadership team all support at lunchtime, and staff on duty are allocated zones and responsibilities on a rota basis.
