We had some terrific Miss Trunchbulls, a Willy Wonka with the biggest hat known to man in Y1JC, and Charlie hidden in a giant dinosaur in Y5AR... You never fail to disappoint with your efforts! The focus of our World Book Day this year was poetry, and in Year 1, we even had a real poet send our children a special video! A
s you know, we place reading at the heart of our curriculum, and we are so proud to hear our children talk about their favourite books and authors. Storytime is certainly one of our favourite times of the day. Please keep reading regularly with your child at home (we ask that this is at least three times per week).
Thank you to Miss Lynch and our Reading Ambassadors for holding our pay-as-you-feel book stall. We earnt £100, which our Reading Ambassadors will use to select new books for our library that they would recommend to their friends.
