National Numeracy Day

Posted 20th May 2022

It was National Numeracy Day on Wednesday this week.

Across school, children have talked about how they use numbers in everyday life, and how they may use them in the future. On Wednesday, children in Year 5 and 6 took part in a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest group of children taking part in a number roll! Well done to all those involved! We are also taking part in a Number Heroes Competition. We would like children to create a picture doing their dream job or hobby and tell us how it uses numbers. When you grow up, how will you use numbers in your life? Maybe you would love to do a cool job like a vet, teacher, engineer or footballer? Or do you dream of spending your days dancing, baking or saving the planet? There are some fantastic prizes to be won! For more information, please follow the link below.
