This time, our team consisted of Year 5s and Year 6s who were still relatively new to rugby league. We played with great passion, especially in defence, with some crunching tackles being completed by our team. I was exceptionally impressed with our performances with the ball. We constantly looked to run and pass the ball and scored some amazingly solo efforts and great team tries too - even the sun shone ?. All in all, a great effort with Whitkirk scoring 13 tries and Shire Oak 8 tries.
