๐ŸŒ Proud of our Year 5 climate champions! ๐ŸŒ

Posted 19th March 2026

Last week, four of our Year 5 pupils represented our school at a Climate Change Ecoโ€‘Conference at Leeds Civic Hall โ€” and they did us proud!

The children took part in inspiring workshops on climate action, from climate justice and protecting bees to learning how schools are already making a difference. They asked thoughtful questions, shared ideas confidently and worked together to create their own Climate Action Plans.

Miss Odor, Coโ€‘Curriculum Lead, said:
โ€œThe pupils were fantastic ambassadors. They were curious, engaged and genuinely passionate about making a difference. It was wonderful to see how excited they were to bring ideas back into school.โ€

Weโ€™re incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, confidence and commitment to protecting our planet. A huge well done to our Year 5 representatives! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š
