British Science Week

British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths that will place between 11-20 March 2022!
At Whitkirk, we are focusing on the theme of growth. We have decided to have a whole school competition of which class, and which pupil, can grow the tallest sunflower. Each class will be given four sunflower seeds, and each child will be given a sunflower seed to take home. We would love you to join in with us and see who can grow the tallest sunflower in their garden. If you have any yoghurt pots, please do bring them into school as they will be perfect for starting to grow our sunflowers. I can't wait to see your sunflowers, I'm going to take part too and see how high it can grow - wish me luck!
