Extra Curricular and Clubs

Our motto at Whitkirk is to be the best that we can be.This encompasses children’s academic achievements as well nurturing children’s social development, and their personal talents and interests.

We place great importance on extra-curricular activities and take part in trust competitions. 

This year, we have a wide range of Trust events to take part in including football, dodgeball, kwik cricket, and trampolining.

Additional to this, we run a range of after school clubs each term. These are run by school staff (teachers and teaching assistants) and a range of external agencies: Leeds Rhinos, Leeds United and KickStart. Each term, the clubs on offer change, but these have so far included Lego, Craft, Spanish, Indoor Games, Football and Rugby.

After school clubs run from 3:15pm – 4:15pm.
