Whitkirk Warriors Rugby League Team!

Well lightning did strike twice! After last week's success in the Watson's Year 6 Cup, we thought a repeat victory might be a tall order, but we went a step further.
Last week, we won four consecutive matches to claim the cup, but this time we won five consecutive matches and in the blistering heat! The team beat the following teams, Bankside Primary School two tries to nil; All Saints Primary five tries to one; Holy Name Primary four tries to one; Shire Oak Primary four tries to three; and St Joseph's Otley four tries to one. Needless to say, our behaviour, sportsmanship, teamwork, determination and rugby skills were outstanding. We have already organised some friendly matches for the Autumn term and can't wait to defend our titles next season. Go Whitkirk Warriors Rugby League Team!
